I can’t imagine this is true, but there’s at least one report claiming that there’s a “growing buzz” about Will Wade emerging as a candidate for Louisville’s head coaching job.
Wade, who was hit by an NCAA show cause penalty following the FBI’s investigation into college basketball, led McNeese State to an NCAA Tournament appearance this season. The Cowboys lost in the first round to Gonzaga to finish 30-4.
There’s no way Louisville would hire a controversial coach with a history of NCAA trouble, right?

Other recent names mentioned for the job are Pat Kelsey, Shaheen Holloway and Amir Abdur-Rahim.
Fans seem to be excited about recent developments:
If Shaheen Holloway is our next coach I might jump off a bridge. That goes for Pat Kelsey too
