According to an updated report from WKBN, U.S. Marshals and DEA agents seized “a number of loaded assault rifles and handguns” from the Youngstown home of Lynn Bowden this morning.
The report also states that agents and police have purchased drugs from the home in the past, but not from Bowden.
Here’s the latest:
U.S. Marshals and the Drug Enforcement Agency seized a number of loaded assault rifles and handguns during a search of the Youngstown home of local football standout Lynn Bowden.
They were at the house in the 200 block of Superior Street while Bowden stood on the porch in handcuffs with other people who were in the house.
Sources say agents and police have also made drug buys at the home but not from Bowden.
No one has been arrested at this time.

UPDATE: It’s important to note that while Bowden grew up at the house, it is not actually his home. The home belongs to his grandmother:
From Bowden’s mother. Makes important point that it is not “Lynn Bowden’s home” as media reports have called it. https://t.co/WNC2Ry1cTM

Worth noting that although Lynn Bowden grew up there and is at the house presently, the home being searched by law enforcement in Youngstown is his grandmother’s and he is not among the more than a dozen official residents.
So it’s not really “Lynn Bowden’s house.”
