According to Pat Forde, Kentucky and Bellarmine University are close to finalizing a deal for a game to be played in Rupp Arena this week.
Forde says the deal could be for two years.
The Wildcats are looking for a replacement game for Wednesday’s Louisville game, which was postponed due to COVID-19 in the UofL program.

UPDATE: Kyle Tucker is hearing that UK will exhaust all options for a big name opponent before scheduling Bellarmine:
From what I gather, we might need to pump the brakes on the Bellarmine thing. I believe Kentucky would exhaust options for a name opponent before scheduling that one.
