Recruiting Analyst Thinks Jaden McDaniels is Torn Between Two Schools

Another week has gone by and Jaden McDaniels still hasn’t picked a college.

Eric Bossi of Rivals.com thinks McDaniels is really torn between Kentucky and Washington.

I wish I could be reporting that there was over the weekend movement towards a decision from five-star senior forward Jaden McDaniels. Unfortunately, I can’t.

After rumors last week that McDaniels could make things official, we all find ourselves where we were a week ago. And a week before that and so on and so on.

I still feel confident that McDaniels is torn between Kentucky and Washington (his other finalists are San Diego State, Texas and UCLA) and it’s really close. We are likely going to hear his decision soon. But for now, exactly when the skilled forward will make a decision is anybody’s guess.

There is also neat little tidbit of news that concerns McDaniels with the Michigan job search.

Juwan Howard is rumored to be getting the job in Ann Arbor and happens to be cousins with Jaden.

Howard is cousins with five-star power forward Jaden McDaniels, who the Wildcats are still battling to obtain for the 2019 season.

Though it’s very late in the process and McDaniels seems to be down to Kentucky or Washington, he is still uncommitted, which could lead to Howard and Michigan making a late push if they can get him under contract quick enough.

Time will tell if McDaniels even begins to consider Michigan, but in what’s been an unpredictable process, anything is possible.
