Kentucky opens the 2014 season at Commonwealth Stadium this afternoon against UT-Martin.
I know Thursday night was upset night in the Southeastern Conference with Vandy getting manhandled by Temple and Texas A&M clobbering South Carolina.
Today things will be different for Kentucky as they host UT-Martin today. Mark Stoops begins year #2 at the helm for the Wildcats and his team is much improved from last season.
Patrick Towles starts under center for the first time in his career. He will have some jitters at first, but will settle down and lead this young Kentucky team.
Look for Braylon Heard to have a big game today as well. I could very easily see Heard breaking 100 yards rushing. JoJo Kemp will also have a big day.
Defensively Kentucky has two stars at defensive end in Bud Dupree and Za’Darius Smith and will make UT-wish they had never seen the turf at Commonwealth Stadium.
