Kentucky finally got in the win column last week by defeating Miami-Ohio 41-7. They look to continue that success this week as the #7 ranked Louisville Cardinals roll into Commonwealth Stadium for a noon showdown with Kentucky for the right to take the Governors Cup trophy home. Louisville has won the last two meetings, will they make it three in a row? Most think they will.
Louisville opened as a 7.5 point favorite over Kentucky, but the spread has now jumped to 13.
As they do every week, saturdaydownsouth.com has come out with their weekly predictions and things don’t look good for Kentucky.
#7 Louisville (-13) at Kentucky
Jon: I truly hope Kentucky somehow finds a way to pull off the monumental upset. That would be great for the program, but Cards are just too good. Louisville 41, Kentucky 21
Kevin: This line is a no brainer. Louisville wins and covers. Cardinals 45, UK 20

This is the first time this season I have picked Kentucky to lose, I hope they don’t, but Teddy Bridgewater and the Cardinals offense will be to much for this young Kentucky defense.
