Team Records and Series Notes
UK improved to 8-0 on the season, giving the Wildcats their first 8-0 start since 2011-12 and third in the Matthew Mitchell era.
Kentucky’s all-time record is 694-477 (.593) in 40 seasons of varsity basketball.
The win makes UK 377-141 all-time in Memorial Coliseum, including an 87-13 mark under Mitchell.
The Cats are 69-3 at home over the last five seasons (including two games at Rupp Arena).

Individual Notes

Junior point guard Jennifer O’Neill finished with 12 points.
O’Neill has registered 10-plus points in seven of the eight games off the bench this season.
O’Neill finished 5-of-8 from the free throw line, which were both season highs.
Sophomore point guard Janee Thompson picked up her fifth double-digit game of the season with 13 points, 10 in the first half.
Junior guard Bria Goss tied her season high in steals with four and took a team-high two critical charges in the second half.
Senior forward Samarie Walker extended her streak of consecutive games with at least one steal to 27 after recording one on the day.
