With the loss of Gunnar Hoak as a graduate transfer to Ohio State, Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Football program need some depth to back up Terry Wilson at quarterback.
It sounds like the Cats are in the mix with Penn State grad transfer Tommy Stevens.
The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman reported on Monday that Kentucky will host Stevens on Tuesday. The passer visited Miami of Ohio last week and Illinois over the weekend, and now he will stop in Lexington to see Mark Stoops’ Wildcats before spending two days with Joe Moorhead in Starkville at Mississippi State to end the week.
Derek Terry of the Cats Pause confirmed the news.
Can confirm QB Tommy Stevens made it to Kentucky today. Penn State grad transfer with one year to play. Still considering UK, Mississippi State, Illinois and Miami (Ohio). He visits MSU later this week.
