Former Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce declared that the Celtics would beat the Knicks in game two of their Eastern Conference playoff series last night.
Pierce was so confident that he said he would walk to work if Boston lost the game.
“If the Celtics lose Game 2 at home, I’m walking here tomorrow, 15 miles! In my robe, no shoes on, barefoot… Put the house on this game,” Pierce stated with confidence.

Of course, the Knicks rallied from a 20-point deficit to win the game 91-90 and take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.
This morning, Pierce lived up to his promise to walk 20.2 miles to work.
“This is crazy dog I can’t believe this. C’s got me out here like this. I’m sweating. So I’m about 4 miles in right now. So I think I got another 16 miles?”

Kudos to Pierce for keeping his promise.
By the way, Karl-Anthony Towns had 21 points and 17 rebounds in the game 2 victory.
