The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men’s Basketball team came into their matchup on Thursday night looking to continue their success against the Tigers of Hiwassee College. After opening up a comfortable 40-16 lead at the half, the Patriots would cruise to a 74-43 victory. With the win, UC moves to 4-0 on the season.
BY THE NUMBERS
• The Patriots spread out the scoring on the night with 4 players scoring in double figures.
• D’Lando Carter (Danville, IL), Jessie Pernell (North Augusta, SC), and Tony Bradley (Alton, IL) all pitched in 11 points apiece.
• Michael Dow (Melbourne, Australia) also scored 10 on the night with 4 rebounds.
• The Patriots outrebounded Hiwassee 50-30 in the game.
• UC also held the Tigers to just under 27% from the field and 13.6% from the three point line.
UP NEXT
The Patriots will continue their home stand on Tuesday, November 11th as they host College of Mount St. Joseph of Vermont. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 pm.
