The Louisville Quarterback Club has awarded the 2011 winner of the Paul Hornung Award to Ft. Thomas Highlands and Kentucky commit Patrick Towles.
The top QB in the state completed 65 percent of his pass attempts, finishing with 3,820 passing yards and 42 touchdowns. He also scored 15 rushing TDs and ended the season with 589 yards on the ground. In the Bluebirds’ last three playoff games, Towles rushed for 349 yards.
Towles led the Bluebirds to another 4A State Championship this season beating Franklin Simpson 42-14.
