The veteran forward has reportedly exercised his $5.7 million player option for the upcoming season, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. Patterson just completed the final guaranteed year of a three-year, $16.4 million contract he signed with the Thunder in the summer of 2017.
When signed, Patterson’s three-year deal at the mid-level exception was a two-year deal with a player option in the third season. Patterson had until June 29 to exercise the option.
