I know it is early, but Pat Forde does have a point.
Saturday’s Kentucky/Indiana matchup will be exciting and is definitely looked forward to by college basketball fan everywhere.
So we will see an offense on fire against a defense that was barbed wire Thursday. We will see Ferrell and Ulis battle in the premier individual matchup of the tourney so far. We will see two true bluebloods fight it out for the right to keep national championship dreams alive. We will see fake archers shoot fake arrows at each other.
Kentucky and Indiana will play once again. The committee hooked us up.

I personally think the matchup is exciting, but it is way too early for these two teams to be playing.
John Calipari had similiar feelings.
“It’s kind of unfortunate that this game is being played this early,” John Calipari said. “This should be another round or two later. But it is what it is, so both of us are going to have to play.”
I know the BBN is about to explode for the matchup with the Hoosiers and can’t wait till Saturday, but don’t forget what this is all about.
