Oscar Tshiebwe named finalist for Wooden Award, Brandon Miller left off list

Kentucky big man Oscar Tshiebwe is unlikely to repeat as the Wooden Award winner, but he is still on the list of finalists this season.

Tshiebwe is one of fifteen finalists for the award, which is given annually to college basketball’s best player.

Purdue’s Zach Edey is considered the favorite to win the award this season.



Controversial Alabama freshman Brandon Miller was left off the list of finalists despite averaging 19.6 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.
