Oklahoma City signs Olivier Sarr to two-way contract

The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Sunday that they have signed former Wake Forest and Kentucky forward/center Olivier Sarr to a two-way contract.

Sarr has appeared in 4 games for the Oklahoma City Blue in the NBA G League this season. He averaged 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game in those 4 appearances.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 12, 2023 – The Oklahoma City Thunder has signed forward/center Olivier Sarr to a Two-Way Contract, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released.

Sarr (6-11, 240) has appeared in four games this season for the Thunder’s G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, and averaged 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.50 blocks in 20.9 minutes per game. During the 2021-22 season, Sarr saw action in 22 games (two starts) for the Thunder and averaged 7.0 points on 57.4 percent shooting to go along with 4.2 rebounds in 19.1 minutes per game.


The Niort, France native played three seasons at Wake Forest where he earned the ACC’s Most Improved Player award before transferring to the University of Kentucky.
