I dug around late last night and talked to a few people that had the chance to watch Mislav Brzoja play against the Kentucky players.
I was kidding on the BBB the other night when I said they would play 2-on-2, but my source says it did indeed happen. The Croatian participated with Wiltjer, Polson, Hood, and Beckham Thursday.
As many have heard, he is a great shooter, and he showed that during the visit. He didn’t shoot particularly well off the dribble, but I think you could put out the excuse of the goals and the eye’s interpretation of everything. That is a big factor for a kid that is used to shooting at a goal with a wall directly behind it.
However, he is not that athletic. He did not show much strength, nor was he extremely fast.
After talking to my source, he is probably a backup plan to Torian Graham. At this point, Mislav would be a project player. I would be surprised to see him get an offer, but of course, Calipari knows more than I do.
