North Carolina and Kansas will do battle for the 2022 national championship Monday night.
Kansas hammered Villanova 81-65 in the first semifinal Saturday evening. The Jayhawks torched the nets, shooting 29-for-54 (53.7%) from the field and 13-for-24 (54.2%) from the three-point line.

In the second game, the Tar Heels made clutch plays in the final minute to upset Duke 81-77.
For Kentucky fans, the title game will be a tough pill to swallow. The Wildcats destroyed North Carolina 98-69 in December and stunned Kansas 80-62 in Lawrence in late January.
Yet, here we are with the Wildcats still trying to figure out what happened in the first round against Saint Peter’s and the Jayhawks and Tar Heels preparing to play for the nets in two days.
