No. 5 Kentucky grinds out ugly win over Vanderbilt

It wasn’t beautiful, but No. 5 Kentucky (18-4, 7-2 SEC) found a way to grind out an ugly 77-70 victory over Vanderbilt Wednesday night at Rupp Arena.

The Wildcats were just 22-for-57 (38.6%) from the field in a game that was marred by 42 fouls and a number of technical fouls, flagrant fouls and video reviews.

Davion Mintz led the way for Kentucky off the bench with 21 points. Keion Brooks finished with 20 points. Oscar Tshiebwe contributed his usual double-double with 11 points and 17 rebounds.
