Kentucky quarterback Nik Scalzo has reportedly withdrawn his name from the NCAA transfer portal.
According to 24/7 Sports:
After a brief sint in the transfer portal, Kentucky quarterback Nik Scalzo decided to withdraw his name from the portal on Thursday, sources told 247Sports. Scalzo originally enrolled in 2019 but suffered a torn ACL and did not see game action then nor in 2020.
A member of the Wildcats’ 2019 signing class, Scalzo was a three-star recruit and the No. 28 dual-threat quarterback, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

UK has confirmed a report that Nik Scalzo is no longer in the transfer portal.
Also, in case you were wondering (I was): Sawyer Smith will not be on Kentucky’s roster this year. Had one year of eligibility remaining due to the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver.
