The NFL has fined Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians $50,000 for striking safety Andrew Adams in the helmet during Sunday’s win over the Eagles.
Adams appeared close to getting involved in a scuffle on the field, which led to a helmet smack from Arians.

“I’ll appeal it,” Arians said Wednesday. “It ain’t got nothing to do with the game, so we’re good.”
According to ESPN’s source, the NFL sent Arians a note that said he displayed “conduct directed towards your players that fell below standards expected of an NFL head coach.”
