Reid Travis has been another type of one and done, an old one, since his graduate transfer from Stanford last summer.
He has been an interval part of the Wildcats in 2019 in an attempt to improve his NBA Draft status in Lexington.
The New York Times has written a nice article about Travis’ time at UK and also spoke to a couple of not to be named NBA executives that gave their opinion on the Kentucky senior’s draft status.
The jury is still out on whether he has sufficiently improved his draft stock. Two N.B.A. front-office executives, who declined to be named because N.B.A. rules ban public discussion of prospects, delivered mixed reviews. One predicted Travis will not be drafted, and the other argued that thanks to Travis’s time at Kentucky, he had played his way into the low- or mid-second round.
