New Orleans choked out of the NCAA Tournament…literally.
Two New Orleans teammates got into a fight during tonight’s game and one of them tried to choke the other one during a timeout.

Even after that, New Orleans had an opportunity at the end but opted not to foul in a situation where they clearly should have fouled. The plan backfired and time expired:

Mount St. Mary’s won the game 67-66. Their reward will be a showdown vs. No. 1 overall seed Villanova later this week.
