Nerlens Noel Starts a Blog for ESPN

The biggest buzz in basketball recruiting this week was the reclassification of Nerlens Noel to the 2012 class. In case you were under a rock or in some third world country, the big man over took Shabazz Muhammad for the top spot in 2012 and set BBN on fire with visions of our own fab 5.

He has started a blog for ESPN, detailing his experience with the recruiting process. In his first installment, Noel talks about how he was originally in the 2012 class and that his reclassification is really a case of coming back home. He talks about each of the schools he is considering and what has happened since he announced the change.

Here is what he had to say about Kentucky and conversations he has had with UK commit, Archie Goodwin.

With Kentucky, I really love the fan base. They’re crazy supportive, especially on Twitter. I’ve been building a solid relationship with the coaches there too.

We didn’t talk directly about Kentucky. We were just talking about video games and talking about the summer.
