While most young millionaires would spend Derby day rubbing elbows with celebrities and posing on the red carpet, Nerlens Noel chooses to make a difference in a young man’s life. Last year Nerlens took Kelly Melton to the Kentucky Derby. Kelly had been diagnosed with leukemia. The pair met during Noel’s visits to the Kentucky Children’s Hospital as a Wildcat.
