NCAA Tournament: What Changed in the Last Month of the Season?

In mid-February, the NCAA Selection Committee released their first ever NCAA Tournament Bracket Preview.

At that time, Kentucky was a 3-seed and the four top seeds were Gonzaga, Villanova, Baylor and Kansas.

So…what changed during the last month of the regular season and conference tournament time?

Actually, not as much as you might think.

Kentucky climbed one line to a 2-seed after reeling off 11 consecutive wins and cutting down the SEC Tournament nets.

Virginia dropped out of the top 16 and was replaced by Purdue. The other 15 teams are the same with some slightly different seeding.
