A Murray State women’s basketball player was given a technical foul Saturday for thanking a teammate for an assist.
Head coach Rechelle Turner was quickly given two technical fouls and ejected for questioning the call:
Rechelle Turner, Murray State Women’s Head Coach, was ejected after getting two technicals within 10 seconds.
The technicals followed a technical given to Lex Mayes for pointing to a teammate after making a three, which Turner acknowledged.

After making a three-pointer later in the game, Mayes was afraid to thank a teammate so she put her hands up in the air:
