The Indiana Hoosiers are once again in the news for all the wrong reasons on Tom Crean’s watch.
Junior guard Devin Davis, who was set to become one of college basketball’s great comeback stories, was cited Monday night for marijuana possession.
Hanner Mosquera-Perea, another junior player, was present at the time of the incident but was not charged.
In 2014, Davis was hit by a car driven by teammate Emmitt Holt.

Police went to the second floor apartment, and they asked for permission to search it.
Officers found marijuana in a backpack, and Davis was cited for possession of marijuana under 30 grams.
Davis was not placed under arrest.
According to a statement released by the IU men’s basketball team, Davis is suspended from all team activities. Any additional action related to Davis’ status will occur after further review of this matter.
