There were 133 field-goal attempts, 54 free throws, 14 turnovers. There were scores of possessions.[/I][/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#000000][FONT=sans-serif][I]And yet everything that transpired flowed from these two moments, one of which nearly undid Kentucky’s championship dreams, the other rescuing them and making them seem all the more attainable.[/I][/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#000000][FONT=sans-serif][I]Davis’ first personal foul led quickly to his second, which led him to the bench after playing only six minutes of the first half. UK played most of the first 20 minutes without a true center, with 6-9 Terrence Jones forced to defend Zeller while he remained in the game. The Wildcats were fortunate that only a minute after Davis went to the bench, Zeller followed with his second.
