Michigan transfer Hunter Dickinson planning official visit to Kansas

Michigan All-American transfer Hunter Dickinson is reportedly preparing for an official visit to Kansas.

Dickinson, who recently had a Zoom meeting with Kentucky’s staff, is reportedly heading to Lawrence next week.

According to the report, he is also planning to visit Georgetown and Maryland this weekend.

Kansas basketball is set to get a visit from the No. 1 player in the 247Sports NCAA Transfer Portal Rankings next week. Multiple sources tell Phog.net that Michigan transfer Hunter Dickinson will take an official visit to Kansas late next week. The visit is expected to begin next Thursday. News of the visit was first reported to Phog.net VIP subscribers on Thursday evening. It will likely be Dickinson’s first official visit, as he is set to take unofficial visits to Georgetown and Maryland this weekend. The 7-foot-1 center initially entered the transfer portal after he spent the first three years of his college basketball career at Michigan. This past season, Dickinson averaged 18.5 points per game on 56 percent shooting from the field, 58 percent shooting from 2 and 42.1 percent shooting from 3. He also chipped in with a career-high 9.0 rebounds and a career-high 1.8 blocks per game in his 32.7 minutes on the floor. The big man’s level of play saw him earn Honorable Mention All America honors and Second Team All-Big 10 honors.
