Kentucky’s injured starting quarterback Maxwell Smith wants the fans to know that he wanted to play today at Florida.
Proud of the effort my team gave today…coaches felt it wasn’t the right decision for me to play today, trust me… I wanted to play! #BBN

A couple of thoughts come to mind after reading this tweet
- Why is any Kentucky player tweeting after the game when we were told there was a twitter ban 12 hours before the game and 12 hours after the game? Maybe the ban has been lifted, but if it hasn’t, what does it say about this team right now and how much they listen to their head coach?
- I don’t know if it is a good idea to be saying anything after the loss his team took today.
- Would Kentucky had won if Maxwell Smith would have played? In my opinion no.
- I wonder what Morgan Newton would think if he saw that tweet and how would he take it?
What are your thoughts on Maxwell Smith’s tweet?
