Kentucky Football fans have been freaking out since Matt Elam decided to postpone his college announcement during the Army All American Bowl this past weekend.
He was going to decide between Alabama and the Wildcats as many thought Mark Stoops would gain another big in state commitment.
Elam tweeted this morning that the postponement didn’t hurt Kentucky’s chances and that he didn’t announce because it was “weird:”
Me Not Committing Saturday Did Not Hurt UK Chances At All Just Didnt Feel Comfortable Doing It There It Was Set Up Weird !! #BBN

He went on to thank the Army All American Bowl for the week, even though it sounds like he didn’t have a very good time.
Did Not Like How The @ArmyAllAmerican Was Sett Up, Or The Week But I Appreciate Everything Yall Do For Athletes Very Prestigious Honor !!

So, I guess we see what comes of all of this, and if he truly joins the BBN after signing day.
