The NCAA has granted immediate eligibility to Kentucky center Olivian Owens.
Owens, who was a five-star prospect out of high school, transferred to UK from Maryland in June.
“Olivia is a phenomenal person and outstanding basketball player,” head coach Matthew Mitchell said. “We are so happy for her that she will be able to compete this year with her teammates. She has worked hard since arriving on campus to be able to player this season and I know her teammates and all of us are overjoyed for her that she will get that opportunity. “
