Mark Stoops took a nice jab at Louisville during the Kentucky football luncheon on Monday.
“I was surprised to see that thing in Jefferson County,” Stoops joked after seeing the Governor’s Cup trophy at the luncheon.
Of course, the Wildcats have defeated Louisville four consecutive times.
Stoops went on to talk about the importance of the rivalry and even gave out some praise to the Cards and new head coach Jeff Brohm.
Since this is blowing up and I’m now sitting down to edit, I should add that prior to the luncheon Mark Stoops gave Louisville and Jeff Brohm lots of praise.
Rivalry is going to be fun this year.
