Mark Stoops said on the Citrus Bowl teleconference this evening that he expects to have a full roster of players for the New Year’s Day bowl game.
He added that he can’t say for 100% at this time, but he expects all players to play. He will be speaking to Josh Allen and a few others in the next week about the game.
Stoops said he will be spending a great deal of time with Allen in the next week as he “makes the rounds” collecting all the awards he’s in the running for.
“We are honored to be a part of this great bowl game,” Stoops said of the Citrus Bowl. “Looking forward to it.”
Penn State head coach James Franklin shared Stoops’ sentiments, mentioning that he’s happy to be playing in Florida and that he gets to spend an additional month with a great group of seniors.
