Kentucky head football coach Mark Stoops and offensive coordinator Neal Brown were both asked about the report of Brown possibly accepting the head coaching position at Troy after the Louisville game today.

“I think it’s a little too early,” Brown said. “I don’t want to speak on Troy’s search. I’ll say this: I love Kentucky. I’m proud of those kids in there. I’m proud to have the opportunity to coach in this game.
Don’t let this ending sour what has happened this year. We got off to a really good start, the schedule was backloaded and there were some really close games that we lost to some really quality opponents. But this place, UK, is on solid ground.
Mark Stoops would not talk about the situation specifically but did say he expected it to “play out in the next 24 hours here.”
