Mark Pope appeared on The Jim Rome Show on Tuesday.
Pope talked to Rome about Kentucky fans and told a story about a man who was reduced to tears when he set foot on the Rupp Arena court.
“It’s like nothing else,” Pope said when describing Big Blue Nation.
Pope also explained how he brought this season’s team together by “being really intentional about recruiting great human beings.”
