Kentucky head coach Mark Pope gave an encouraging update on the status of injured point guard Lamont Butler this afternoon.
Pope told the media today that Butler is returning to non-contact practice today, which is a key first step in him returning to the lineup.
Butler hasn’t played since the Vanderbilt game and the Wildcats are 1-2 in the three games without him.
