Element Sports Group put out a release this afternoon to defend former Kentucky football star Lynn Bowden Jr.
The release states that Bowden and his young son were visiting his grandmother’s house this morning when federal agents conducted a search of the home.
According to the statement, Bowden was fully cooperative with officials an no arrests were made.

WKBN reported earlier today that several guns were seized from the home, which actually belongs to Bowden’s grandmother.
Bowden’s mother posted this on social media shortly after news of the incident hit social media:
Please stop my son is not arrested that’s not his home it’s our grandmas house and she’s never been in trouble in her entire life so the information is very inaccurate

The Raiders, which recently drafted Bowden, put out this statement earlier today:
