They always say it’s really tough to get out of night game at Death Valley with a win, and last night that proved to be true for No. 6 Alabama.
No. 10 LSU converted a gutsy 2-point conversion in overtime to upset the Crimson Tide 32-31.
The win led to an epic scene after the game:
With the loss, 2-loss Alabama almost certainly drops out of the race for the SEC West and College Football Playoff.
However, 2-loss LSU (7-2, 5-1 SEC) now controls its own destiny for the SEC West with road games at Arkansas and Texas A&M remaining on the schedule.
Ole Miss also has only one SEC loss, but already lost a head-to-head game against the Tigers. What’s worse for the Rebels is that they now have to host a ticked off Alabama team next weekend, then travel to Arkansas and host Mississippi State.
