The first pitch of Kentucky’s Super Regional baseball game at LSU is now scheduled for 8:06 p.m. ET.
According to LSU, the decision was made to delay the gave five hours because of a “chance of thunderstorms.”
At the time of the decision, there were blue skies over Baton Rouge and no storms within a 50-mile radius:

Obviously, the Tigers are trying to protect star starting pitcher Paul Skenes to make sure he doesn’t get taken out due to a weather delay.
Or in other words, they really had no excuse to screw everyone over like this.
