According to multiple reports, Louisville is set to name Scott Satterfield as Bobby Petrino’s replacement.
Satterfield comes over to Louisville from Appalachian State.

The University of Louisville’s long search is over, as athletic director Vince Tyra chose Appalachian State coach Scott Satterfield to be the Cardinals’ next head football coach, according to a source with direct knowledge of the decision.
A Tuesday 4:30 p.m. press conference has been scheduled to announce Satterfield as Bobby Petrino’s successor.
The University of Louisville Athletic Association has scheduled meetings starting at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The finance and budget committee is scheduled to meet, followed by the personnel committee at 4:10 p.m. and the board of directors at 4:20 p.m. The meetings will be at Cardinal Stadium.
The Mountaineers are 10-2 this season and will play in the New Orleans Bowl vs. Middle Tennessee State.
