Louisville was supposed to have a big homecourt advantage when they were placed in Rupp Arena for the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament.
Unfortunately, things went south in a hurry for the Cardinals and their fans.
For starters, the Cards were upset because they were under seeded as an 8-seed, which meant a difficult first round game against Creighton. The Bluejays dominated Louisville from start to finish on the way to an 89-75 win.
Louisville head coach Pat Kelsey was handed a technical foul late in the second half, which basically ended any hopes of a comeback.

A fan then threw a water bottle onto the Rupp Arena court:

Then, when things couldn’t get any worse, Kentucky fans started a “Go Big Blue” chant:
