We all know that Louisville is off to a really bad start this season, but the first NET Rankings might make things even worse than they seem.
The Cardinals (0-8) are ranked No. 361 out of 363 teams in Division I college basketball. Only Houston Christian and Hartford are ranked lower than Louisville.
Louisville is No. 361 in the NET.
Only Houston Christian and Hartford rank worse among all Division I teams. Even Elon — the team, not the rich dude — ranks higher than the Cards. https://t.co/MVZ31eOOU3 pic.twitter.com/CUqEnntcPj

Ouch.
On a bright note, Kentucky is currently No. 42, which isn’t great, but also isn’t bad considering two early losses.
The first NET rankings are out:
4. Tennessee
5. Mississippi State (!!!)
8. Alabama
21. Auburn
25. Arkansas
34. Missouri
42. Kentucky—
