Lindsey Wilson Men’s and Women’s Basketball host doubleheader against Miami-Middletown beginning tonight at 6 p.m. CT
Women’s team holds its home opener followed immediately by the men’s contest
COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men’s and women’s basketball teams compete against Miami (Ohio)-Middletown on Friday at Biggers Sports Center. The women’s team is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m. CT with the men’s game to follow immediately afterward.
On Saturday, the Blue Raiders (1-0) claimed an 83-66 victory in their season-opener against Brescia (Ky.).
Lindsey Wilson scored 52 second-half points to edge the home team. Five Blue Raiders ended the day with double-figure point totals, including Cassidy Martin (15), Bre Elder (11), Kayla Richardson (11), Chanel Roberts (11) and Billie Hearn (10).
Tonight’s game marks the 2014-15 season opener for the visiting ThunderHawks.
In the nightcap, Lindsey Wilson men’s team (1-2) enters on the heels of an 83-67 road loss to Martin Methodist (Tenn.) on Wednesday night.
