The Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers have voted to boycott the 2020 NBA season due to racial inequality in the wake of the Jacob Blake shooting.

All NBA games scheduled for tonight were postponed after the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted their game against the Magic.
“We’re tired of the killings and the injustice,” Bucks guard George Hill told ESPN’s Marc Spears in explaining his team’s decision.
The Clippers and Lakers voting on perhaps not continuing with the season was considered more of a polling, than a final vote, sources tell ESPN. The resumption of the playoffs remains still up in the air.

Three Major League Baseball games and five MLS matches were also postponed.
