LA Times says Kentucky Won’t Win It All Because They Have Another Team Full of NBA Players

The Los Angeles Times has listed their main contenders to win the National Championship and Kentucky is obviously on the list.

They list reasons why each team can and won’t cut down the nets in Houston.

Why Kentucky won’t win the championship is an interesting theory.

Kentucky

Why it can: Kentucky pulled the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class, which included Skal Labissiere, who has the potential to be the nation’s best player.

Why it won’t: The Wildcats couldn’t win with a roster full of future NBA players. Why would it be any different with all that talent gone?

If I am not mistaken, the Kentucky 2012 national championship team had some pretty good NBA players on it. So did the 2011 edition with Brandon Knight, Terrence Jones etc, that didn’t win it all.

This year’s Kentucky team is no different, as they have a lot of future NBA talent on it as well. One would think this isn’t a valid reason for the Cats not to win it all.
