On Wednesday, Southeastern Conference athletic directors met to discuss the upcoming football season.
According to Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio, the “vast majority” of those in the meeting are for opening facilities at the end of May.
However, one athletic director took the opposite view and stated that it’s too early.
According to Jones, that AD “raised such a ruckus” that the decision was tabled until at least next week.
The athletic director in question is not Kentucky’s Mitch Barnhart. .

UPDATE: Matt Jones reported in a later segment that the AD who wants to delay things is Phillip Fulmer at Tennessee. Fulmer is wanting to push things until at least June 15.
