If you are keeping up, the University of Tennessee is about to lose their head basketball coach to UCLA.
Rick Barnes has reportedly been offered $5 million to take over as head man in Westwood, California.
Knoxville restaurants are trying to help the Volunteers cause by offering free food to Rick Barnes as long as he stays as head coach instead of leaving for UCLA.
“We’re going to sweeten the deal here Rick,” the Stock & Barrel post read. “Free burgers for you for the rest of your days here in Knoxville!! Any day, any time. No questions asked.”
Barnes told ESPN this year that Stock & Barrel is one of his “go-to” places for lunch.
Other Knoxville restaurants are upping the ante.
Hard Knox Pizzeria offered Barnes free pizza for life and Scrambled Jake’s offered Barnes and his coaching staff free cinnamon rolls for life.

I am guessing it will take a little more to sway Barnes to stay in KnoxVegas and it ends in “million.”
There is one writer for the LA Times says he has a source that says Barnes is leaving Tennessee for UCLA but it isn’t 100%.
That account I retweeted was fake but my source isn't. I have been told it's looking like Rick Barnes is headed to UCLA but it's not 100% confirmed.
