There was some good news and some bad news about the Kentucky Wildcats in Canada tonight.
The good news is that the Cats scrimmaged BAL Select from Africa and beat them rather soundly.
A few clips from the scrimmage appeared on Twitter tonight:
Here are some clips from Kentucky’s scrimmage against BAL Select (Africa) earlier today.
Clips show a tough put-back by Jordan Burks and DJ Wagner getting in the paint for a runner.
From the videos and someone at the game, there were a lot of three guard looks. pic.twitter.com/a9W8lwhBdv

According to reports, John Calipari went with a starting lineup of Antonio Reeves, DJ Wagner, Tre Mitchell, Justin Edwards and Adou Thiero. There were also a lot of three-guard looks, which is probably a good thing for this particular roster.
Some not-so-great news out of the scrimmage was a reported ankle injury to big man Ugonna Onyenso. He was reportedly helped off the court by teammates and details of the injury (if there is an actual injury) are unknown.
Some bad news that Onyenso hurt his ankle during the scrimmage and had to be helped off the floor. No word on whether he will play the rest of the weekend
