Kentucky used clutch shooting down the stretch to grit out a tough 95-90 win over No. 14 Mississippi State Saturday night in Starkville.
The Wildcats finished 16-for-32 (50%) from the three-point line in a game that featured 72 attempts from long range by both teams.
Hot-shooting Jaxson Robinson led the Wildcats with 27 points. Otega Oweh added 15 points and 8 rebounds. Andrew Carr battled through back pain to score 13 points. Ansley Almonor scored 11 points off the UK bench. Lamont Butler contributed 10 points and 8 assists. Amari Williams chipped in 10 points and 12 boards.
The win was the 200th of Mark Pope’s coaching career.
